Mail Club - December '16
CHRISTMAS MAIL SPECIAL
Obviously this month's mail club is Christmas/Holiday mail!
This year we decided to do a festive family photo shoot and get it printed at Artifact Uprising, our favourite photo printing spot, because we wanted to send a lot of them and I could not figure out how to make 75 cards by hand in time for the holidays.
I had a pretty massive meltdown around the lack of personalized messages on the cards this year, but decided that when it came down to it I was choosing between writing handwritten heartfelt messages OR sending the cards at all. So meltdown be damned, I sent them out (on time!) and I'm pretty sure people loved them. And I was really happy to send them.
now because there is nothing better in the world, here is a mckee-really-hates-being-festive blooper reel:
Thank you to Marie for answering the call- "sister! The lighting is nice, can you come take a family portrait of our feet and we're going to make the dog super mad?" with, "I'll be there in 20."
This is what sending 75 Christmas cards looks like around here.
MERRY & BRIGHT EVERYONE
MAY JOY find you THROUGHOUT THIS SEASON AND follow you INto THE NEW YEAR
It was finally time for us stop dialling in our Christmas outfits and so I made us these stunning little Christmas turtlenecks based on a DIY my mom made for my sister and me in the 90s. Here’s how you can get glorious for Christmas too.
