DOCUMENTING JAPAN

Guys, my creative spark magically came back.

I bullet journalled my way through our 2 week trip to Japan

It was magic.

I had a heart attack when we arrived at Don Quixote in Tokyo and saw the stickers. Well, technical question here, is it a heart attack when you literally have heart eyes and your hands start flapping around and you can hardly breathe and you end up squealing with a basket full of sushi and otter stickers?

And what the heck I thought I’d actually use them.

So I started bullet journalling.

To me a bullet journal is a little book you carry around and you let your creativity flow while keeping track of what you did, what you need to pick up, and thoughts you have, and what you need to do. Technically, a bullet journal is this fancy “analogue system for the digital age” and you can watch a video on how to set it up here. But it’s too intense for me I just want to do what I want.

And I just didn’t care what it looked like.

And that’s when I realized that I have been letting perfection be the enemy of good.

This book is so good enough, that in it’s own way, it’s perfect.

It feels so great to be here again
